 Please call the rectory @ 315-478-5740 to inquire about the seven sacraments, which are rituals that teach, strengthen, and express faith:

• Baptism: Cleanses the soul
• Confirmation: An outpouring of the Holy Spirit that gives strength to profess faith and set a good example
• Eucharist: Also known as Communion, this sacrament nourishes love of God and others. 
• Reconciliation: Also known as confession, this sacrament helps cure inclinations to evil and makes it easier to avoid sin
• Anointing of the Sick: Helps people accept sickness as a purifying cross from God and death from His hands
• Marriage: A sacrament at the service of communion
• Holy Orders: Also known as ordination, this sacrament is only available to men who are ordained as deacons, priests, or bishops

Suggested Donation for Faith Formation $30

• Students attending Most Holy Rosary Faith Formation in 8th grade will be eligible to make Confirmation in the Spring of their 9th grade year. This is a 2 year preparation program. Classes meet on Sundays at 10:30-11:45.
• Students attending parochial school are eligible to make their Confirmation no earlier than the spring of their 9th grade year. These students will join our Faith Formation students for direct preparation approximately  8 sessions. These sessions will meet on Sundays 10:30-11:45.
• Candidates are expected to attend all classes, weekly mass, & retreats.
